Knit Vest :: Video and Pattern

Materials: 

2 skeins of Jeans Yarn from Circulo color 8736
Knit straight needles size 6mm (UK 4) (US 10).

Scissors.
Tapestry needle.

Gauge:
7 stitches x 10 rows - these stitches should measure 5 inches in width and height.
On a 5 cm x 5 cm in stockinette stitch.

To knit in different sizes:
Number of sts multiple of 4+2 +2.

Final Size:
Medium

Overall height: 14,96 in
Pit Height: 7,87 in
Base Width: 14,96 in
Back Width: 12,20 in

Yarn Information:

Each yarn has 757 tex, 135 meters, 100 grams, 100% cotton.

Back:

Cast on 60 on sts.

Row 1: purl all sts.

Row 2: (p1) k1 *inc 3 sts on the same st, p3tog* k1 (p1).

Row 3: purl all sts.
Row 4: (p1) k1 *p3tog, inc 3 sts on the same st* k1 (p1).

Rep rows 1 to 4.

After 24 rows (6 repetitions of the pattern), stop on a right row (my project had 5,51 inches height - 6 pattern rep).

Bind off each side 4 sts purlwise.

When I finally had 16 rep in total, (I measured my project and it had 14,96 in height). Bind off.

Left Front:
Cast 20 sts.

Row 1: (slip 1 purlwise) purl the row.

Row 2: (p1) k1 *inc 3 sts on the same st, p3tog* k1 (p1).

Row 3: (slip 1 purlwise) purl the row. 

Row 4 (p1) k1 *p3tog, inc 3 sts on the same st* k1 (p1).

After 24 rows (6 patterns rep), stop on a right row (my project had 5,90 in height).

Bind off each side 5 sts purlwise. 

When I finally had 16 rep in total, (I measured my project and it had 14,96 in height). Bind off.

Right Front:

Cast 20 sts.

Row 1: purl all sts.

Row 2: (slip 1 purlwise) k1 *inc 3 sts on the same st, p3tog* k1 (p1).

Row 3: purl all sts.

Row 4: (slip 1 purlwise) 1m *p3tog, inc 3 sts on the same st* k1 (p1).

After 24 rows (6 patterns rep), stop on a right row (my project had 5,90 in height).

Bind off each side 4 sts purlwise.
